Terms and Conditions

1. Scope and contracting party

These terms and conditions apply to all orders placed by consumers in the online shop post-irony.com. Your contracting party is Sebastian Miething, Post Irony, Hackstraße 22, 70190 Stuttgart, Germany, email: support@post-irony.com. Deviating terms of customers do not apply.

2. Conclusion of the contract

The presentation of products in the online shop is not a legally binding offer but an invitation to place an order. By clicking the order button in the last step of checkout, you submit a binding offer to purchase the goods in your cart. Before submitting, you can review your details and correct them in the input fields. Immediately after ordering, you receive an order confirmation by email. With this email we accept your offer and the purchase contract is concluded.

3. Contract language and storage of the contract text

The contract languages are German and English. We store the contract text. You receive your order details with the order confirmation by email, and these terms are available on this page at any time. If you use a customer account, you can also find your orders there.

4. Prices and shipping costs

The prices stated at the time of the order apply. Prices are final prices; as a small business under Section 19 of the German VAT Act (UStG), we do not charge VAT. Shipping costs are added and shown at checkout before you complete your order. For deliveries to countries outside the European Union, customs duties, import taxes or fees may apply; details are in our shipping policy.

5. Payment

The available payment methods are shown at checkout. The invoice amount is due when the order is completed.

6. Production and delivery

Our items are made after you order by our production partner Printful and shipped from there. Delivery areas and delivery times are stated on the product page, at checkout and in our shipping policy. If an ordered item is unavailable, we will inform you without delay and refund any payments already made.

7. Retention of title

The goods remain our property until paid in full.

8. Right of withdrawal

Consumers have a statutory right of withdrawal. Details are set out in our withdrawal information.

9. Warranty

The statutory warranty rights apply. In case of defects or transport damage, please contact support@post-irony.com, ideally with your order number and photos.

10. Liability

We are liable without limitation for intent and gross negligence, for injury to life, body or health, and under the German Product Liability Act. In case of slightly negligent breach of an essential contractual obligation, meaning an obligation whose fulfilment makes proper performance of the contract possible in the first place and on whose observance you may regularly rely, liability is limited to the foreseeable damage typical for the contract. Otherwise, liability for slight negligence is excluded.

11. Dispute resolution

We are neither willing nor obliged to participate in dispute resolution proceedings before a consumer arbitration board.

12. Final provisions

The law of the Federal Republic of Germany applies, excluding the UN Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods. For consumers, this choice of law applies only insofar as it does not deprive them of the protection of mandatory provisions of the law of the state in which they have their habitual residence.
